How does HCG have an effect on athletic performance?
HCG has attributes equivalent to luteinizing hormones (LH). This makes HCG very useful for athletes. In males, the luteinizing hormone stimulates certain cells inside of the testes, making androgenic hormones (mostly testosterone).
This permits for a more all-natural increase in muscle mass and a much more controlled progression of fitness and performance.
Our HCG patients generally want to, and often try, working out while on an HCG diet. This is due to the fact that they generally have great energy levels. However, doing intense or excessive workouts during phase 2 of the program will put your body into starvation mode, stripping the muscles of protein and amino acids. This ultimately slows weight loss and creates a risk of gaining weight back.
Our HCG Active Program incorporates the HCG with exercise during for those who want to work out. Our protocol of HCG that is enriched with Glandular support and Amino Acids allows our patients to exercise using an un-enhanced or “regular” HCG.
There are guidelines that have to be followed in order to make this safe and effective for you. Our HCG ACTIVE increases protein and calories depending on the length of your work-out. Keeping your heart rate in a target zone, you can work-out with a combination of aerobics and weight training.
The initial step to incorporating HCG into an athletic life-style is to have a complete wellness exam and evaluation by one of our Physicians or Physician Assistants. Determining what results you are hoping to achieve, your well-being, and your initial results, will determine the proper management and dosing plan. Continued monitoring by one of our Physician Assistants is required.
Formulating a complete strategy with our physician team is the greatest way to benefit from HCG usage. Monitoring your use and results is crucial to the long-term benefits.
HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or ‘normal’ distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
